Controversial

o many things regarding Christians seem to cause controversy these days. My attitudes towards these controversies give me a clue to what I believe myself. I’m finding that I’m caring less about the small stuff and more about the big picture. Given a choice between smoking and a war in Iraq, for example, I’d have a clearer conscience smoking a pack a day. If I had to choose between driving under the influence, or tasting a person of the same sex’s cherry chapstick… I’d pick the chapstick. See what I mean? Some things just don’t matter. Other things we engage in… are huge. Which is which is not always obvious.

Lucky I guess

I thought lady luck whacked me with her handbag when I ran across several Man From U.N.C.L.E. books at Aqua Books (thanks SC)… but imagine my surprise when she hit me with everything she got… inside one of the books was a dozen (or so) dried and pressed four-leaf clovers!

Hello world!

Sorry, I got sidetracked. I was just creating a user name so I could comment on another wordpress blog, but I got sidetracked and led into creating one of my own. It was so simple I didn’t even realize I had created a new blog until it was too late… Oh well I’ll add this to my other three Blogger blogs. That I created by accident. As well. I’ve always thought a blog without pictures wasn’t worth the bits it’s stored on. Well, let’s try some real thoughts for a change. Here I’ll just post pictures if they illustrate my point. That’s the plan for now. NOW, where’s that blog I was going to comment on?
